I have a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Texas - Austin. I have been an art instructor full-time and part-time over the course of 9 years now. Programs I have worked for include the Contemporary Austin, the Cordovan Art School, Mexic-Arte Museum, and many more. I currently teach private lessons in the homes of students of all ages. My specialties include all 2D traditional materials - pencil, ink, watercolor, oil, acrylic - and all categories of art including realism, expressionistic/abstract, and illustrative/animated. My main philosophy is not only demonstrating how I make art, but teaching you how YOU need to make art when I'm not around. I'm flexible with all interest levels, from the budding enthusiast to the "sip some wine and relax" artist. It doesn't matter what you want to create, from Renaissance portraits to Pokemon, we can make them look better together.
