Relevant Experience: I am the currently site coordinator of Reading Partners (a one-on-one literacy intervention program) at a Hayward elementary school. I develop curricula, oversee student-tutor pairs, and do extensive tutoring myself. I deal with all sorts of students, from autistic to ADHD to English learners, and provide a supportive learning environment for all 64 students in my program. I love working with children and am planning on pursuing a career as a literacy specialist. I also taught at a high school in Providence, RI during my time at Brown.
