Experience
I have seven years experience private tutoring for math, sciences, language courses, as well as the SAT. During my last two years in high school, I spent everyday after school privately tutoring a student with ADHD and helped him throughout his college application process. In addition to tutoring, I have taught a Cantonese language class of 35+ students at UC Berkeley. I've been accustomed to the role of a mentor/tutor throughout my life and truly believe in the potential of expanding knowledge and education through the relationship built between a tutor and their student. For me, why I think tutoring is such an effective method is because through constant interaction students are more easily able to learn the material at hand. This has been proven through studies conducted at UC Berkeley and is encouraged by every professor I have taken courses with. I see tutoring as a two-way street because it offers me an opportunity to develop new methods to allow my students to harness the material at hand and all-the-while learn something new about the subject topic. Some relevant courses I have taken from high school till now are : Calculus AB, English Literature AP, University Courses: Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Microbiology, Genetics, Evolution.

Hobbies
During my free time I enjoy playing table tennis for the Cal Table Tennis Team. I also enjoy playing the piano and guitar during my free time.
