Experience
I love teaching, and I've been and educator for over a decade. I have worked as a middle school French teacher in NYC, have taught college-level sociology courses at Harvard, and have served as a private tutor. Part of my strategy for being an effective tutor is to help scholars connect with the material. I do that by getting to know my students well. As your (or your student's) tutor, together we will set up a plan for success, which includes setting short- and long-term academic goals, creating effective study habits, and implementing a plan and timeline to tackle assignments. I offer flexible scheduling and can meet you in a location convenient to you. Teaching Experience: -middle-school French -college-level sociology Tutoring Experience: -various subjects, students have ranged from elementary school through college
