Education
I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and currently work as a chemical engineer in the biotech/pharmaceuticals manufacturing industry. In addition I am fluent in Spanish and have lived or traveled in Spain, Peru, Mexico, and Belize. I do a considerable amount of technical writing in my role as an engineer, and taught ESL in Vietnam. My minors are in chemistry, biochemistry, and Spanish, and I am currently finishing a Coursera course in data science.
Experience
I have tutoring/teaching experience in the following subjects: math (K-12, college, algebra, calculus, trigonometry, geometry); Spanish (all levels); writing and grammar; ESL. AP test score: 34 SAT test score: 2200 I enjoy tutoring because it reminds me of when I was in school and learning everything for the first time. It's also a wonderful opportunity for me to connect with people who are in a different part of their life.
