I get a sense of fulfillment and joy when I connect with my students and help them academically. I stick to a professional teaching style, which is engaging and informal. It is important to me that my students look forward to their lessons. I want them to consider me their guide and cheerleader, as well as a supportive resource that will instill in them the necessary skills to achieve their academic goals. I am from Orange County, California, where I studied acting at the Orange County High School of the Arts. I attended college at Stanford University, and began working as a private tutor as an undergraduate student. During free moments, I started my own small tutoring company in the surrounding areas. When I graduated, I returned to Orange County and was hired by Elite Academy, an international test prep company. In this new role, I am a test prep instructor. I teach classes in ACT reading and SAT critical reading. I still tutor privately in various subjects (PSAT, ACT, public speaking, reading, and writing, among others) as well. I studied theatre and French at Stanford University, where I also minored in creative writing. My hobbies include literature, yoga, dogs, and theater.
