I graduated Cum Laude from Agnes Scott College in 2012 with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Public Health. I am also a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
Experience
Tutoring can be a challenging, yet extremely rewarding experience. It is a joy to see others reach their fullest potential! I find that providing structured sessions with a patient and positive attitude is essential to helping students achieve their goals. My past tutoring experience includes instructing students ages 5-21 years old in reading, reading comprehension, spelling, writing, speech, mathematics, study skills, and test preparation. I also have experience tutoring middle and high school level mathematics (algebra and geometry), as well as elementary school level math and reading/language arts. Since graduating, I have worked and volunteered as a research lab member, tutor, mentor, and health educator, in addition to providing outreach and psychosocial services to students and their families.
