Experience
I have been a teacher of a wide range of musical subjects at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for most of my professional life. Subjects taught include both history and analysis of music, and composition. Currently working with the Golden Gate Philharmonic (a youth orchestra) teaching younger musicians, and tutoring students privately in music-related topics. I am a composer. It is very gratifying to me to be able to share these with others, and to help to fire in them the same enthusiasm I feel for music.
